This project was a renovation of the Kinugawa Kanaya Hotel, which has its roots in the Kanaya Cottage Inn, the oldest hotel in Japan, and involved a renewal of 15 rooms, the lobby, and the dining room. The theme was "first-class luxury of a Japanese inn," based on a concept combining the quiet of a hotel with the service of a hot springs inn. This is manifested by the "Kanaya View club floor, which is a spacious Japanese-style room with a modernized touch. The balcony guardrail is made of glass, offering a view of the Kinugawa River.
